A journey from vine to wine Vallonné Vineyards is India's first boutique winery which brings French-styled wines to the Nashik Valley. Our wines embody a fusion of the finest winemaking techniques, state-of-the-art technology and flavours of the terroir. Vallonné, which means 'undulating landscape' in French, true to its name, stands on sprawling estates that rest on the gentle slopes of the Sahyadri ranges in Kavnai village that gradually blend into the clear waters of the Mukhne dam. Vallonné is guided by an emphasis on cutting-edge quality and optimal viticultural practices. The sprawling vineyards are raised on acres of virgin land irrigated with clear mountain water. Our South-facing vineyards draw from the unique qualities and flavours of the terroir characterised by gravelly soil, sunny days and cool nights. The winery is designed to be ecologically sensitive with cellars tucked away twenty feet below ground to naturally protect the wines from heat and light. The wines are matured in the cool environs of the barrel room, in oak casks imported from a premier cooperage in France.   Our exquisite wines display the dedication to the pursuit of excellence that Vallonné stands for.

	With three decades of experience in the world of wines, Shailendra has closely studied the industry, the market and its evolution in India. In the 1980s, he was instrumental in taking Indian wine to foreign shores. He is a businessman with interests in varied fields. Vallonné Vineyards is a dream woven and created by Shailendra in his journey from being a wine professional to a wine producer. With Vallonné, he strives to bring a true international boutique wine experience to India.
	Alan Viegas, Director
	A post graduate in business management, Alan began his career with short stints in the corporate world, before setting up his own highly successful real estate business in Goa in 1995. A prominent name in the realty business, his firm the Property Management Group, caters to the high end niche of very exclusive second homes in Goa. Alan brings with him a strong sales and marketing experience and provides his astute advice to the overall running of the company.
	Karl Coelho, Director
	A marketing and sales professional, Karl was in Japan for two decades before he returned to India in 2008 and joined in the dream of creating Vallonné Vineyards. A passionate wine lover with wide exposure to Old and New World wines, he brings his understanding of wines and a strong network of international contacts to Vallonné Vineyards.
	Prashant Thanawala, Director
	A veteran in the Hindi entertainment industry, Prashant brings his education in Pharmacy and years of managerial experience to Vallonné Vineyards.
	Aditi Pai, Director
	A post graduate in mass media, Aditi has honed her skills during her tenure as a journalist with a reputed news magazine. She manages the company's corporate communication and public relations building a rapport with consumers and the media.
	Marie Barbé, Winemaker
	Our French wine maker, Marie Barbé, brings her expertise in wine-making from Bordeaux, ensuring a stellar blend of Old and New world wines. Having made wines in various regions of France, Chile and Russia, Marie combines her wealth of experience and love of wine making to craft the finest wines at Vallonné . Our picturesque vineyard, she says, is her true inspiration for bringing out the best in her.
